Dear Team BOOM,

In our continuous pursuit of excellence and innovation, one of the most powerful tools at our disposal is the community itself. We cannot do this work alone and many times we just need HELP! I'm excited to share a strategy that promises to amplify our efforts and extend our reach: building an Asset Map.

What is an Asset Map?
An Asset Map is a visual representation of the resources within our immediate region that can propel our services and offerings to new heights. It encompasses people, organizations, and entities that align with our mission and can contribute to our success.

Here's how we can build our Asset Map:

  1. Create the List: Gather our leadership team and brainstorm potential partners in the community. Think about local businesses, educational institutions, community centers, and even experts who offer products or services beneficial to us.
  2. Connect and Engage: Once our list is ready, it's time to reach out. Hosting a luncheon, arranging calls to introduce ourselves, or even visiting their offices can set the stage for fruitful collaborations.
  3. Collaborate on Opportunities: By calling upon each other during events or opportunities, we can leverage our collective strengths. This not only maximizes our impact but also ensures we are a part of a supportive and thriving network.

The Power of Collaboration
As the work we are called to do becomes increasingly challenging, it's clear that no single organization can tackle these challenges alone. Harnessing the power of collaboration is not just beneficial; it's essential. By building an Asset Map, we create a framework for mutual support that helps all involved parties succeed more than they could independently.

Let's embrace this opportunity to transform our collective potential into real-world successes. Together, we can make a significant difference in our community and beyond.

Onward,

Tom
